Mixed Media Class

In this mixed-media class we explored texture, color, and playful experimentation using everyday materials like aluminum foil, tissue paper, bubble wrap, and textured fabrics.

Textured papers were created with translucent paint glazes, gels, stencils, and embedded fibers to add depth; once dry they were torn, collaged, and painted into place.

The process encouraged intuitive gesture and material exploration, combining matte and glossy finishes, incorporating found objects, and working the surface until each piece felt complete.
