Our Story in Color

Hi, I’m Karen Conner,

My love for art began in childhood, when I spent countless hours shading coloring books with crayons. What started as a creative outlet has grown into a lifelong passion and, now that I’m retired, the opportunity to pursue my dream full time.

For more than 15 years, I’ve had the joy of teaching acrylic paint classes to children and adults. I believe everyone has an artist inside them, and I love creating a welcoming, encouraging, environment where people can relax, have fun, and discover their creativity-whether it’s their very first painting or they’re an experience artist.

I’m honored that my artwork was feature in the Expressions 2026 Art Show and that my work has been published in Painting World Magazine. I had the winning design for the These experiences have been wonderful milestones in my artistic journey, but my greatest reward is seeing the joy that art brings to others.

My artwork is inspired by the beauty of nature, everyday life, and the blessings God has placed around us. Faith, family, and kindness are at the heart of everything I do, and I hope each painting I create brings a little beauty, encouragement, and joy into someone’s home.
